Tips for care

We would like our handmade jewelry to be part of you as long as possible. Here are some tips to ensure they last as long as possible.

Protect the jewelry from water, direct sunlight and heat. Always keep jewelry on silk and with antique Saint Mary or gold-plated pendants away from water, exposure to direct sunlight or heat (don't dry it on the heating units). Silk can "live" for a long time but frequent humidity and high temperature will not do its ability well. 

Apply body lotion,  make-up, perfume or hairspray before you put on our jewelry. That will help to only limited contact with these substances. 

Handle jewelry with care - in the event of impact ion a hard surface, minerals or pendants may be damaged. We cannot replace just one piece from the jewelry, it would have to be made all over again.

When not wearing our jewelry, store it in a safe place to prevent dust and moisture.

Jewelry made on steel wire with gold filled components  (bracelets and some necklaces without gold-plated pendants) is less sensitive to contact with water. This is good news for those who don't like to take their jewelry off.
